Advanced Medical Imaging and Visualization Unit
The Advanced Medical Imaging and Visualization Unit (www.medical-imaging.org.uk) was established in 2011 and is one of three Biomedical Research Units funded by the Welsh Government's National Institute for Social Care and Health Research (NISCHR). It is a partnership between the Research Institute of Visual Computing (RIVIC), the NHS in Wales and Aberystwyth, Bangor, Cardiff and Swansea Universities. The Unit employs a team of eight research officers to work on projects where imaging and visualization technologies can provide added value to medical applications.
